Our Balcones Speed training program is designed to improve your acceleration, top-end speed, and speed endurance. We follow a structured progression of neuromuscular adaptation, power building, and pace optimization.
Concentrating on explosive movements and short-distance acceleration will aid us as we look to sustain high speeds during extended periods while changing direction. Additionally, we will assist in developing an endurance foundation for our athletes, which is essential for supporting high-intensity workouts. Going beyond skills, our training aims to improve specific athletic attributes like speed, agility, power, endurance, and flexibility, while also addressing the mental and cognitive abilities of the athlete, which is all relevant in sports.
By integrating strength training, conditioning, and sport-specific exercises to maximize fitness and minimize injury risk. Training includes drills and exercises that directly mimic the movements and actions required in the sport, regardless of physical competency. Each Program also includes a nutritional profile and consultation from our University of Texas certified Sports Nutritionist Coach. Level-Up Summer Program Initiatives:

- Core Stability: Exercises that strengthen core muscles, improving stability and balance.
- Agility: Improves the ability to change direction quickly and efficiently.
- Speed: Enhances the ability to move quickly and efficiently.
- Functional Fitness: Incorporates exercises that mimic real-life movements and activities.
- Nutritional Guidance: Teaching our athletes about adequate calories, macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats), and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) assists our FitKids for optimal performance, recovery, and overall health.
